Don’t miss the annual Deep River Holiday Stroll, Saturday December 5th on Main Street! Celebrate the holidays in Deep River with the entire family and enjoy fun holiday activities all day! The day is topped off with Santa’s arrival and the tree lighting ceremony!

The Deep River Historical Society invites you to participate in the 3rd Annual Festival of Trees, Trains & Traditions to be presented throughout the Society’s buildings and grounds on December 4th & 5th, 2015.
This year we will feature a special display of trains and highlight other annual traditions.
Awards will be presented in 3 categories: Best Rep. of Theme, Most Creative Use of Materials and new this year, all participants will be eligible for our Celebrity’s Choice Award. Each category will have a junior and adult award…Judging will be done by a “people’s choice” system by the attendees with the exception of our Celebrity’s Choice.
Hope to see you on the 4th and 5th!
Join us Saturday November 14th for the 10th Annual Jams for Cans to help support our local food pantry. Each year this great event helps to raise so much needed food for our neighbors in need. Please join us, check out some great local music and support those in need!

Head on down to Main Street for the 21st Annual Deep River Family Day, Saturday September 19th! The day begins with a family fun walk/run and a 5K race starting at the Town Green at 8am. There’s a Carnival in front of Deep River Elementary School from 10am-3pm, Hayrides, Live Music and Fireworks to end the day at Plattwood Park! Don’t miss one of our most popular events of the year, Family Day is a day full of fun for all ages. See you there!

Come down to Deep River for the annual DEEP RIVER ANCIENT MUSTER Friday and Saturday July 17th and 18th.
The Muster takes place on Devitt Field, 15 Southworth Street and the Parade takes place along Main Street in the center of town.
Join us for a fun filled weekend of music and activities for the entire family!
- Tattoo – Friday July 17, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Devitt Field
- Parade – Saturday July 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. on Main Street
- Muster – Saturday July 18, 2015 immediately following parade at Devitt Field
