Offering walking and hiking trails on several of our properties. Our Florence Bidwell Sanctuary, Guetliweg Preserve, George C. Lyon Nature Preserve, Rattling Valley Ridge Preserve, Evelyn & Hawthorne Smyth Sanctuary, and Union Street Sanctuary all welcome visitors to their trails.

Located at the Deep River Town Hall parking lot. The dates for the Farmers' Market for 2024 are every second Saturday from 10 am to 12:30 pm starting June 1st.

Plattwood Park consists of a baseball field, skatepark, pavilion, snack shack, and swimming hole. It is available till sunset for a variety of events. Note: If interested in reserving a facility for a specific event contact the parks and rec department.
